Getting the best out of your hair style for your wedding or photo shoot requires you to talk to your hairstylist. My new hairstylist asked me whether I wanted to layer my hair, and I told her that I needed to keep it long for the wedding album photo shoot. Immediately, she started giving me advice on how to prepare my hair.

This new hairstylist had the experience herself, since she just got married two years ago. She complained about the need of having to keep her hair long just so that her makeup artiste could do a bit of styling, since it is really hot to keep long hair in our tropical climate.

One advice she gave was to maintain good nutrition in the months leading up to the wedding and only use quality hair products to ensure that your hair is in top condition and looks healthy on the day. For those with dandruff or other hair issues, there are some services available at hair salons that promise to cure this affliction through treatments.

Some people may be dieting to attain their desired weight, but this may cause hair to fall, or they may be brittle and weak due to poor nutrition. The hair may break when the makeup artistes is pulling and tugging your hair and this is something that you may not want to happen. For those who have split ends, do trim your hair regularly even if you are trying to grow your hair. Ugly split ends may spoil the look.

One factor that you might need to consider is whether you will have a backup hair stylist should anything untoward happen to the one that you plan to have preparing your hair on the day.

As your wedding is a one time event you need to make sure that you have all contingencies covered as anything can go wrong. The bridal studio in charge of your wedding should be able to send backups, but if it is an auspicious day to get married, it may be a problem.

Make sure also that your backup hairdresser knows precisely what type of hairstyle is required. You should take some photos of your preparatory hair style so that you have something to show should another hairdresser be needed. It is also good to show your original hairstylist what you had agreed on, because she might have forgotten what you had wanted. This will avoid misunderstandings and unhappiness.

Check with your makeup artist whether clean hair or one day unwashed hair is required for styling. Your hair should definitely not be dirty. To remove all the hairspray and gel after the wedding, my hair stylist advised me to put the conditioner on it first before washing since all the chemicals would have put a huge strain on my hair.

In addition to all these points that you need to remember you should also phone your makeup artiste in the days before the wedding to see that everything is in order and once again on the day or night before the wedding as a last minute checkup and reminder.

After a long three months or more, I finally had my hair trimmed a few days ago. I needed to have long hair for my photo shoots and thus had to let it grow. As my hair is extremely thick, it gets very warm and hot for me. I couldn?t layer it too much, if not when they bun up my hair, it will be very difficult for my hair to stay in place.

Decide well beforehand on the hairstyle that you will be having on your wedding day and make sure that you use your regular hairdresser or choose someone that you can trust and book them well in advance to make sure they are available on the day. Most bridal studios would have arranged for you a makeup artiste who is also a hair stylist. The trial hairstyle will probably be used for your photo shoot. This is the best time to find a hairstyle that suits you.

Try out your hairstyle in the weeks preceding your wedding so you can see that you are satisfied with the final results and make any changes sooner rather than later to ensure that you will get the right look on the day.

Let your hairstylist know what your wedding dress will look like and also the flower arrangements that you will be having as this can influence the style of hair that will look most appropriate. You will also need to decide whether to dye or highlight your hair before the wedding, since different colours may clash with your wedding gown.

Your hairdresser might even need some flowers to add to your hair so make sure that they are delivered early enough on the day to be included in your hair preparation. If this is the case, the flowers should be fresh and be able to last.

When choosing a hairstyle, you should know your face shape and what type of hairstyles will look good on you. If you have an oval face, almost all types of hair styles will suit you. If you have a heart-shaped face like me, you need to cover part of your forehead with some fringe so that it will look more balanced. Read bridal magazines to get an idea of some suitable hairstyles. Your makeup artiste should be professional and skilful enough to know what works and what does not work. Do not insist on a hairstyle that looked great on a model, because it may not be suitable for you. Do manage your expectations.

Oh my goodness, this photographer takes one of the most stunning wedding photos I have seen. The colours are rich and vibrant. Interestingly enough, the bride in the photos has many bridesmaids, and she dressed them up in brown in various designs, depending on the body shape and preference of the bridesmaid. The bride had a great gown too.

The photographer is able to get details on other things that are happening at the wedding party reception. I guess I like recurring patterns and designs. The flowers and the chocolate covered strawberries are nicely taken.

It reminded me of the time I tried to teach my friend how to make that dessert, since I watched it in one of the shows where a psychopathic woman tried to murder her lovers by putting poison into those strawberries, and she put a lot of nail polish on her hands, so no fingerprints were lifted.

Anyway, I thought you could buy chocolate bars, melt them and then dip the strawberries into the chocolate. According to my friend, the chocolate bars did not melt and so the dish did not turn out right.

Does anybody have the recipe?
