Beach wedding photography is one of the loveliest types of photography because it allows the wedding party to be in a unique setting that has many different possibilities for creative photography. Beach wedding photography tips can be difficult to master because many photographers do not get the chance to practice the shots very often. Learning some beach wedding photography tips can show you some easy techniques that can be used for taking quality photographs of the wedding party on different areas of the beach.

Choosing The Right Settings

Beach wedding photography tips will often give different ideas for unique settings for the photographs. The more unique the different parts of the photograph are, the happier the subjects of the photographs will be because unique and different are qualities that are in right now and no body wants what everyone else already has. By carefully choosing the angle and the location of the photographs, the photographer can ensure that they are unlike any that has been taken of the couple before and provide a great memory of their wedding on the beach.

One of the easiest beach wedding photography tips to use for great photographs of a beach wedding is to choose different spots for standing and taking the photographs. Although you may be tempted to stand with your back towards the sand, facing the water for all of the shots, a great wedding photography idea would be to take shots from different angles on the beach to get a different appearance for the photographs. Taking a photograph of the bride as she is walking down the water line of the beach with just a sliver of water showing off to the side or of the bride and the groom walking barefoot in the shallow water change the entire concept of the wedding photograph and make it look more like a candid photograph captured when the lovebirds were not looking. Beach wedding photography tips also recommend a bunch of candid shots of everyone frolicking on the beach so that the fin environment that was chosen by the couple is not ruined by the strict poses of the photographs.

Take The Photographs At Different Times Of The Day

Most beach wedding photography tips recommend searching out different types of lighting to create photographs that are even more unique. Many photographers like to take wedding photographs with different types of shadowing such as waiting for a cloud to move across the sun or positioning the couple under a shade bearing item where the light is more muted. The pictures that you get from using these beach wedding photography tips can look entirely different when different types of light are available although some beaches only have direct light and no shade for a large portion of the day, which is what makes the beach an attractive beach for many people to come to.

King’s Park in Perth has nice verdant lawn grass which makes a good contrast to the other photos I have taken with blue skies and other scenery. I’m wearing a short tube white wedding gown, so the mood here is light-hearted.

We got to lie on the lush green grass, and for someone who dislikes touching grass, the experience was totally fun. First, the grass was dry, and not wet and muddy, and it was not ticklish.

I think I’ve put on some weight in these three months since I had selected my wedding gowns. I couldn’t fit into my evening gown, and it was traumatizing! The seamstress immediately went to let out the seams for me to try, and she said she would get it ready by this weekend for my wedding photoshoot.

I’m going to take studio shots first, where I would probably have a change of 3 costumes. I saw some of their backdrops and I was not very impressed. They appeared to be rather worn out.

I saw their costumes of prince and princess, and I had seen these on other people’s wedding photos of the same bridal studio. I guess I wouldn’t be dressing up. Their Japanese kimono doesn’t look grand enough. The one I saw in Japan was extremely beautiful and costs at least S$3000.

If I really wanted, I’ll go and rent the costumes from my favourite costume shop, Masquerade, in Bali Lane. Since I already have so many wedding photos, I guess I’m not going to take that many again.

Perhaps it’s because of my overseas wedding photos that I am not that excited about my current photo shoot. My colleague told me she took photos in the back streets of Chinatown and in Sentosa.

Since I have all types of outdoor scenery, except the local buildings, perhaps I’ll ask the photographer to focus on these. Unlike other brides who checked their photographers’ portfolios, I didn’t do it. Or rather, my bridal studio did not ask us to do so. Hence, I have not spoken to the photographer on which areas we would be going to.

I’m not planning to go to places where there is lalang, like far flung Punggol, and my husband doesn’t intend to do so too, because he had just finished serving his reservist duty and had been crawling and crouching in the jungle and outdoors for a week.

Perhaps for our outdoor wedding photo locations, we could take pictures of the Esplanade, Supreme Court, Fullerton Hotel and some other ethnic enclaves in Singapore for the local flavour. We had an outdoor gown for this purpose, one that is much older, so I just chose a ball gown with tube top that the lady passed to me. The other gowns were not that nice.

I have shoes for my wedding gown, but I don’t have shoes to match my wine red evening gown. Black heels, perhaps?

My husband has borrowed the Number 1 army uniform which is in white for the top and black with gold trimmings on the side. I think the cap looks a little strange on his head, but he’s proud of his officer roots, so he is going to wear that. He has also bought a bow tie. I find it strange that our bridal studio is not providing such things.

Oh well, I hope the weather will be great this weekend! After the wedding photo shoot that includes both studio and outdoor photography, we will have to rush to my grandfather’s birthday dinner.

The Meaning of the Silver Wedding Ring

Silver wedding rings are really popular in the world we live in today. Along with gold and white gold, silver tops the list of most popular precious metals used to make wedding rings all across the globe. But, where did the wedding ring originate? And what is the meaning behind this precious metal that holds the key to so many hearts?  By tradition, the brides ring was silver while, and the grooms’ would be gold. But, today almost any type of metal may be used for the wedding ring of both the groom and the bride. Silver wedding rings are traditionally placed on the left hand and on the ring finger. The reason for this placement on the hand goes back many years as far as medieval times.

The wedding ring is placed on the ring finger because of the belief that a vein in that finger runs directly to the heart, making the wedding ring a symbol of love and commitment. The silver wedding ring symbolizes eternal love between two people, it is considered to be one of the most romantic of precious metals, and is often combined with diamonds. These beautiful rings make the perfect gift for anniversary, engagement, and of course, make the perfect wedding rings.

Silver Wedding Rings and Where to Buy Them

Every fine jewelry store across the nation and beyond sells high quality silver wedding rings. They can be bought online, but it is a good idea to go to a jeweler and have the ring sized perfectly for your finger, although if you are sure about your ring size ordering ready made rings too are a good choice. There are many to choose from. Wedding rings come in all different styles and can be great for men or women, because the variety of styles can be either masculine or feminine. Nowadays, a lot of people prefer the look of silver with diamonds, which makes for a very sophisticated and glamorous look. Although they are somewhat expensive, silver wedding rings are a great choice when choosing the right wedding ring for you.

A few of the styles that are popular with silver rings are the original wedding bands, Celtic silver wedding bands, and braded bands, just to name a few.  Some people like the look of the classic wedding band – it is simple, clean, and relatively lower in price than those containing white gold or diamonds. But some times, it is the precious stones combined with the silver wedding ring that really completes the look.

Deciding whether or not to get a silver wedding ring is all a choice of taste; in some cases, people even have them engraved with special names or words. And a lot of jewelers will allow you to have your rings engraved for no extra charge. You should always choose a ring that reflects your personal style and has a comfortable fit. You should accept nothing but one that you absolutely love because in most cases you will be wearing it for a considerable long time. Remember that silver is a precious metal and it can be costly depending on the ring, but mostly they are reasonably priced, and there are hundreds of ready made rings to choose from. But no matter the cost the silver wedding ring is a symbol love, and should be cherished.

I absolutely love the stunning blue skies in Perth. I had a lot of fun taking this set of wedding photos by the ocean, though I have no idea where this location is. I’m wearing the wedding gown with lots of layers, and it’s laced up at the back. The orange and yellow flowers bring a nice touch of colours to these photos.
