So how can you determine if a wedding planner is worth all the money they charge to make sure your wedding goes on without a hitch? Well, for one you can ask for their previous wedding experience, and second you can ask if they are a truly certified wedding planner.

Experience

If a wedding planner is certified, they more than likely have experience; and lots of it. For that reason, you may want to make sure your wedding planner is certified rather than find an experienced wedding planner without certification. A certified wedding planner will have been schooled in all that wedding planning entails. They’ll know the ins and outs of the business, they’ll already have good business contacts and they’ll likely come highly recommended. So ask to see certification before you hire a wedding planner. You’ll be glad you did. Nobody wants to just trust anyone with their wedding and that’s what you’re doing if you don’t ask for some kind of certification.

Taking A Chance

You can take a chance on a lot of things. You can drive away from the fast food restaurant without checking to see if your order is correct, you can trust the grocer with your grocery tab without checking your receipt line by line and you can take a chance that your car will make it to the gas station even though the little gas light is on; but most people don’t want to take any chances with their wedding. They don’t want to think back with regret because they hired a wedding planner on a whim. Instead, research your wedding planner, ask about their previous experience, talk to their previous clients and make sure they’re a certified wedding planner. That’s the only way you can be sure your wedding will be that glorious day you’ve always dreamed it would be ever since you were a child.
