Brangelina Follow A Yogic Lifestyle

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning to get married this year in a traditional ashram in Jodhpur, India, called Adhyatama Vigyan Satsang Kendra. The hermitage is the home of guru Ram Lalji Siyag who at 83 practices what he calls spiritual evolution and holistic healing. One of his fellow gurus said that “Pitt and Jolie will marry in the New Year and the guru will perform the ceremony. He was asked to perform the ritual in at a luxury hotel in Jodhpur but refused to hold the ceremony there and suggested it could take place in his ashram.”

Brangelina have been aided by the yogi to find peace and harmony and have been helped, through yoga to strengthen their five year relationship.

Other famous couples who have had their weddings in India have been Katy Perry and Russell Brand who married in a luxury ceremony in a resort near Rajasthan, where Brand had proposed to her. Brand and Perry had fully taken on the Indian traditions for their wedding, Perry had been seen sporting a traditional bride’s nose ring and had henna applied to her hands.

Liz Hurley and her husband Arun Nayar also had a traditional Hindu wedding in Jodhpur at the same palace where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had been to visit four years ago. Ananda in Himalayas is another great location for healing yoga.

It is said by some that yoga has many practical benefits, there is the spiritual yoga, a non commercial variety that guru Siyag teaches. It is non religious and can be practiced by any one.

As well as being widely regarded as the home of yoga, when it comes to spiritual and physical wellbeing India is also famous for its massage, there are many retreats and spa holidays throughout India where you can take leave from the trials of contemporary western life and enjoy treatments that refresh the soul as well as relaxing the body. If India’s a little too far for you then there are Europe spa holidays where you can get the same spiritual and physical attention without have to trek halfway across the globe.
