You may have hired a professional videographer to take videos of your wedding. Do you need to get your friends and relatives to bring their own video cameras as well? Sometimes you may have funny occasions with certain members of the family, and the professional may not be able to capture that, or he or she may think that is not important. At the same time, you can have different parts of the wedding ceremony.

If you only depend on amateurs, you may get shaky footages, or the lighting may not be sufficient. Sometimes, the sound may not be crystal clear, and you can hear the cameraman or woman talking in the background. Certainly, it should not be the Blair Witch Project. The professionals will also be able to decide on the different angles to get the best shot.

Of course, there are methods to overcome that. With fanciful and easy to use video software, people can edit their own videos and add voice-over comments and music. If you are the one doing the entire video montage, then you can choose songs that fit your theme. This will definitely be fun.

If you can afford it, why not get a video camera to film your hen’s party, the wedding preparation and even your honeymoon apart from the wedding itself. After all, if you plan to have children in the future, your video camera will definitely come in handy for the numerous parties and performances.

I saw the Apple iMac video software, and I think it is pretty cool. Why not check out what’s available on the market.

My friend had a video of her wedding made and she invited us over to her house a month after her wedding to show us the funny scenes when the groom came to fetch the bride. We made the groom eat wasabi bread and wax his legs with my friend’s initials. They danced and sang as well.

Having videos is quite a standard feature in weddings, where the happy moments are put together in a video on the day itself. When projected onto the screen, all the guests would get to share in the happy occasion. My mother’s friend’s husband got the son-in-law to practise a few taiji moves before he could pass the level to get to the bride’s room.

It is great to look back many years later and see the way you were on your wedding there, and the people who were there to celebrate the happy occasion.

You can get a professional to take a video. There are many videography packages in the market. However, if cost is an issue, or you have talented relatives or friends who love to make home videos, then get them to help you. If they have young children, then you can be rest assured that they are extremely proficient at making home videos.

After the wedding, you can edit the video or get a professional to create one from the various copies. You can keep or give or share with your friends and family. Throw a party like my friend, and we will get to watch the video together. Do edit the video as you don’t want your friends to feel they have to sit through a long video of every single thing.

I found a wedding video of this guy, Sean, who got married recently. I think the song, She,?made the wedding video even more interesting. She I?m not sure whether the singer is Elvis Costello or Charles Aznavour, but the song is extremely romantic.

I think choosing appropriate songs to match the wedding videos and photo montages is quite important. I heard the song by Jolin Chua and David Tao sometime back at my friend?s wedding, and it was quite cute, but I would prefer to use a more romantic English oldie. The lyrics are below.

She
May be the face I can’t forget
The trace of pleasure or regret
May be my treasure or the price I have to pay
She
May be the song that summer sings
May be the chill that autumn brings
May be a hundred different things
Within the measure of a day

She
May be the beauty or the beast
May be the famine or the feast
May turn each day into a heaven or a hell
She may be the mirror of my dreams
The smile reflected in a stream
She may not be what she may seem
Inside her shell

She
Who always seems so happy in a crowd
Whose eyes can be so private and so proud
No one’s allowed to see them when they cry
She
May be the love that cannot hope to last
May come to me from shadows of the past
That I’ll remember till the day I die

She
May be the reason I survive
The why and wherefore I’m alive
The one I’ll care for through the rough in ready years
Me
I’ll take her laughter and her tears
And make them all my souvenirs
For where she goes I’ve got to be
The meaning of my life is

She
She, oh she
